PICK OF THE WEEK
The Queen – Be careful with this one, you might just learn somthing about jolly old England. A good, solid story and I wouldn't be surprised to see Helen Mirren get an Academy award for her take on Queen Elizabeth.
Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan – Borat is a movie that got great word of mouth before anybody had actually seen it. Let me go against the buzz just a little bit. It's definitely very funny at times, but it's also a one-trick pony. Sometimes inspired, always irreverant, occasionally flat.
Saw III – Pretty disjointed for the first half hour, then almost up to the standards of 1 & 2. I like the Saw movies but, hey, I wrote Kiss the Girls.
