Gridiron Gang – A true-to-life football story that is uplifting if nothing else. Sometimes, some Saturday nights, that's enough.
The Last Kiss – Nicely done, but I'm not quite sure why they did it.
Hollywoodland & The Black Dahlia – Two noir mysteries about Hollywood--from Hollywood--which not too many people went to see in theaters. Both flicks feature nifty art direction and very good actors doing fine work. Both flicks disappoint in the end because these are stories without real endings.
