Mr. Bean's Holiday – Saw this one with my 9-year-old, Jack. He's much more of a connoisseur of artistic comedy, so he enjoyed it more than I did. It is very well done of its kind, however.

Superbad – I expected to love this, but I only liked it. The kids are all great, but the constant potty-talk got kind of repetitive for me. Also, the storyline could have been stronger. But when it's funny, it's funny. And I love Kevin Bacon, but he really got over-cooked by the director on this one.

Death at a Funeral – This is very, very funny in places. But I didn't care enough about any of the characters for it to be a really satisfying movie for me.
