PICK OF THE WEEK
Glory Road – This flick about the Texas Western basketball team that won the 1966 NCAAA championship is just about what you might expect, and sometimes that isn't such a bad thing.
The Producers – A chance to see Nathan Lane and Matt Broderick re-create their re-creation of the Broadway hit. True story. When I was at the theater, a woman couldn't find the auditorium for the movie she was there to see. She asked the usher where "Springtime for Hitler" was playing.
Matador – The critics like this one but I found it flat. Different, but definitely flat.
Casanova – Heath Ledger does a fine job, but I expected more from this comedic romp.
