A punk rock band witnesses a murder in a backwoods roadhouse. Nasty and graphic, but good storytelling. Remember though, you were warned about the graphic parts. B+

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

I was OK with this costly extravaganza until they started blowing everything up. Scene after scene after scene. Talk about colossal bores. And in this case, a story that’s pretty much a downer as well. C-

Speaking of blowing everything up—Heeeeeeeere's Henry! Basically, this is going to the theater and paying $10 to watch a videogame. It was probably a pretty good short movie. C-

Everybody Wants Some

Dazed and Confused II. Diverting and entertaining. Terrific performances. But at its core, the film is nothing more or less than a celebration of likeable jocks trying to get laid. So let's stop already with the four and five star rave reviews. B+
