I loved this movie, everything about it- the script, the acting, the dramatics. It is, however, unnecessarily convoluted and that may bug some people. Hollywood has this habit of making movies for Hollywood rather than the people who see a movie once a week and want a good story in a straight line.
The first two thirds are absolutely terrific. Better than Mystic River in my opinion. But the last act fell apart a bit for me. The ending will definitely get you talking, though.
Is a good thriller with good performances, but for me at least the subject matter is way too serious for a genre movie like this. Hollywood continues to make thrillers and suspense movies that are incredible downers, then wonders what happened at the box office. Plus, any movie called Rendition is fighting an uphill battle. What where they thinking?
