I'm am a middle schooler and I used to hate to read, but then I picked up Maximum Ride. I could not believe the excitement in your book. I can't wait till The Final Warning comes out. You are my favorite author right next to S.E. Hinton. She wrote The Outsiders. Just a question, when is the movie coming out and have they done auditions yet? I want to play Max!!!

Thank you for your sweet note. I'm glad that my book got you excited about reading. I encourage you to keep reaching out and trying all kinds of books. I've heard the Stephenie Meyer books are popular with Max fans too. I didn't like reading when I was your age either, believe it or not!
The date on the Max movie isn't definite. But I'll remind the website people to keep everyone posted with news as we get it. As for auditions, I just write the books. You'll have to look to Hollywood for that. And there's always YouTube.
