The Lake House is the long-awaited follow up to When the Wind Blows, but don't worry if you haven't read Wind — The Lake House works just fine without it. Amazingly, to me anyway, When the Wind Blows is my biggest seller around the world. Also, when I go on tour, it's the book people always single out as their all-time favorite.
The Lake House has already gotten some great reviews (which I pay attention to when they're positive). The story really barrels along and might even touch your heart as well as scare your pants off!!
I don't know about you, but that's the kind of novel I want when I'm chilling out in my hammock. Happy summer reading...
